New research from the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) shows that early detection may prevent about 17,000 cases of advanced, or metastatic prostate cancer a year. In this video a Rochester-area man talks about his surprising diagnosis after a routine PSA test at age 52; and Dr. Edward Messing, chair of URMC Urology, discusses the importance of PSA testing.
