Wow…1st world problem. Be happy with your machine not many get to enjoy excellent espresso or whatever alchemy you want on that platform. I totally understand about the upgrades. I’ve had mine for 3 years plus and absolutely no issues Love it!. I need to do a PM soon though.

The steam wand I would upgrade ($800) or so. I like the idea of not getting burned lol. Other than that I’m totally happy with my mini. Would totally do it again but this time get the GS3 manual paddle.

It looks like Marzocco is using the plastic portafilter of the Micra rather than the standard stainless steel version used in the GS3 and commercial machines.

My black LM was delivered between Christmas and new year. Sold it three weeks later. Thank the lord I did.

The hardware-based updates such as the new pre-brewing cannot be implemented because a new valve has been installed. Completely deliberate & understandable. What would annoy me a bit is if La Marzocco reserved the purely software and firmware-based updates for the Mini-R only. Setting the max. timeout, automatic rinsing etc. would be functions that I would also like to have on my Mini purchased in December 2023. I sincerely hope that the product developers realize this. For the life of me, I can't imagine that these functions will only work explicitly on the Mini-R, unless they are hardware changes. So please LM: get to work on a firmware update for us Mini owners and let us have these features too!

I wish they would just give you both a bottomless and a spouted for the full linea, the twist off idea is cool bit just isn’t as pretty or high quality feeling as the commercial portafilters

Absolute unacceptable to ship my new Linea mini end of January 2024 (Oct 2023 order) with the excuse of having an order backlog, just to find out less than a month later that they were producing the updated mini (and shipping to influencers) at the same time!

Having researched the brand for weeks before dropping 5k on an espresso machine, I was highly impressed by LM but now they simply seem to be another third class company to give zero shits on customer satisfaction

Don’t be fooled by this completely overpriced machine. You can get a better performing, much more reliable machine for half the price of this one. You’re paying thousands of dollars more just for a name.
