I remember when buying a porsche felt like buying an entry level supercar. Now it's on par with them and there is no entry level supercar💀. You just have to scour used car markets, buy a supercar which nobody wants (looks bad, has known issues), travel thousands of miles to pick it up, still pay 150k+, and pray it doesn't fail you. Inflation and the resulting growth of the car dealership industry really led to this. I remember seeing tiktoks of people buying ferraris, putting 1000's of miles on them, and selling them for a 30% profit during the 2019-2021 money printer go brrr period. It's actually just ridiculous. I'm really considering buying an old sprinter van, putting a mattress in it, and calling it home just to avoid paying 1500-2000 for a 1 bedroom apartment in a mid building/area and to avoid the pressure of buying a good car.
