Squeaky Clean Brushes!

I combined the oil painting and makeup brush cleaning technique together. This is the most effective and inexpensive (in my opinion) way to cleaning makeup brushes. I hope this is helpful, sorry for taking so long to make this video! If you are constantly breaking out, maybe you should check to see if your brushes are properly clean!

I kinda miss this Michelle...
I know that some of y'all will be hating and declaring that I'd love her no matter what if I were truly a fan. I can see where you're coming from, but here's my point.
She feels very distant. At first it was like a good friend or an older sister was showing me what I needed to do and her looks weren't all full of self advertising. 
Now I feel like she doesn't see her subs anymore. Y'all know what I'm talking about?

I just watched another current YouTube beauty guru do almost the exact video- same technique, same tips, almost word for word! Her video was from 2014 and this is from 2010. Coincidence? I think not. I wish people would give credit where it's due. Thank you, Michelle Phan, for teaching us all how to clean brushes effectively and inexpensively.

I really liked Phan at this point she was cool, taught people make up and friendly. She showed emotion and looked like a real person. Now days its not the same. She seems kinda mindless and emotionless. Most of her videos recently are just boring. She doesn't have a personality anymore

I did everything you suggested in this video including ordering brush guards. Although I got a 15-piece set (3 different sizes) from an ebay seller in China for $1.50! I ordered 2 sets so i have 30 of them and they are fantastic!!! It took about a month to get them but they were worth the wait. I washed all my brushes and they look brand new. Thank you SO MUCH for this video Michelle. I used to get chronic mild eye infections to the point of not even wanting to wear make-up but theyre not bothering me now.

I tried this and it actually works! You can wrap the brush up in paper towels and tape it to a wall if you can't get brush guards. :)

Anybody with no brush guards, I dry my brushes as well as possible with a towel and tape them to a wall upside down. Sounds weird but my brushes keep their shape and the water doesn't drip down :D

For anyone wanting to try this, DO IT it works sooo well. My foundation brush (which I haven't cleaned in weeks, and I use it everyday) looked brand new.
