So for anyone curious I totally bought this and it came in today it is a cheaper plastic but it’s not something that would just break you’d have to abuse it and the fan doesn’t really get quieter what you really need to do is take your time and cut holes in your helmet for more vents don’t use the fan

Hi, I have had this mask for a couple of years now. I removed the fans and refitted them with extra damping, this has resulted in stopping over 50% of the sound vibrating around the inside of the helmet. If you have the fans set on half speed you can hardly hear them.

So I bought this helmet for use in Paintball, did a review and all (facebook live). It did not stand up to a .68 cal roundball at 10yrds, then I shot it with a FSR at point blank range and destroyed the eye sockets (i guess its called). It is/was repairable but wosport nor anyone in china sells the lens bracket piece (keep lenses in) so i ended up wasting the money. I got the green helmet, painted the panels black with flexseal to give it more rigidity and durability but there are certain parts of the helmet that you simply cant reinforce primarily the most important parts which is the eye pro. I will say that yes its cool looking and the concept is there but the quality and material used is sub-par to say the least.

Thank you for this honest review! I was almost getting it, I thought it was very cool, and when I read it had fan systems, I was convinced... until I saw how obnoxiously loud it was in this review. Once again, thank you for the honesty and for the great work!

It needs more air venting like on top to get rid of the heat and over the ears so u can hear what is around you and mount the fan on the back

Maybe with the Mesh on the front and a Hookup with something like a EXFOG system to get rid of the fan noise....then it might be fun to wear. Excellent Honest review though. Very Refreshing to hear.

Put the mesh front and cheek wels off and boom no foging up and god forbid if you need to use a small diamond drill bit and put 2 holes in the top

I like the look of the real ronin, but honestly for Airsoft I don’t see the point in this, no cheek weld, it’s prob hot and foggy but idk. It doesn’t seem worth it

The lenses DO NOT STOP AIRSOFT BBs You can put more than one lens into each socket at a time so you can put the metal mesh over a regular lens and adding that best protection to the regular lens plus the metal mesh is a far more thicker mesh than most mesh goggles.

If im not mustaken, airsof mike reviewed it and he said it wanst rated for airsoft. He had a vote to test if it would hold up and everyone voted yes and it didnt hold up. He shot it full auto with a vector and the lenses broke easily if you can get some thicker lenses that can withstand that kind if force, then go for it.

I heard that the lenses aren’t ansi rated so be careful with it for airsoft

Do not buy that helmet. I bought the half helmet version and I was very disappointed. Overall the plastic wasn't bad however the plastic for the eyes were not up to quality. Took 2 350fps shots from far away and shattered.

Great honest review. Refreshing to watch. Thank you. The lack of peripheral vision and the fan noise would prevent me from buying this. Perhaps with the front mesh and replacing the top panels with a more breathable plate with mesh inserts it would not fog so badly and reduce the need for the fans but I really don't see the need for that much face/head protection in airsoft. This is just my opinion, but it seems to be more a novelty or Cos-play costume helmet. Buba Fet's lesser known brother Chez Fet? Please don't hate on me for the spellings lol.
