Smart could actually be a good pick because hes a lock down defender and a great leader

I feel like it would be better to yet lavine, but Marcus is kind of like the Draymond of boston while being a solid scorer

The smart pick led to tatum and brown and the championship roster we have today, without him it wouldn’t have played out like this so I think they made to right pick

As a bucks fan, this is sad:

In 2013 the bucks held the 2nd pick, they took Jabari Parker, even though they could've drafted Embiid.
A couple of picks later they had the 36th and with it took Johnny O'bryant III, jokic was drafted 5 picks later.

All of the mvp finalists this year could've been on the same team.

Even thinking about putting Marcus Smart as a bust here is a joke. He's an elite defender and now that's he moved into a role as a true PG he's a good floor general with a good catch and shoot three. Boston doesn't need another elite scorer. There's only one ball. I feel like this is clear enough with the one season disaster of Kyrie (not to mention the locker room antics he's known for). Building a team is about having players that compliment each other and putting together as many assets as you can. Without Smart the Celtics aren't in the finals this year. Simple enough. If Brad Steven's was offered Zach Lavine for Marcus Smart straight up you think he'd take it?

Calling a Dpoy a draft mistake is a hell of a take.
