I've been here a week and just got to Osaka today and it's insane how far money goes when it comes to food. Not only do you get a good portion but the quality is generally pretty good also.

I would kill to have this kind of actual food easily available in the US. Ironically enough the only place I can think of that’s affordable and not fast food is the Japanese restaurant in my area. It’s one of the only places that actually serves dishes made with veggies that aren’t deep fried which is honestly a rare find especially in the south.
