MS Paint drawings existed 2000 years before computers did, evidently

It also shows Him on a cross, not a stake as the JWs insist upon. The person drawing this image had probably seen crucifixions in person, so it's good evidence.

Another important thing to note is: although the person who made this graffito mocks Aleximenos for his faith, Aleximenos was able to openly admit his faith in the first place, in a context closely tied to the imperial court. This graffito is found in a building used for the training of imperial pages/servants.

The donkey head comes from Egyptian mockery of the Hebrew god, doesn't it? That came about when the Egyptians were clapping back at the Moses story.

In a similar instance of irony, the oldest fragment of the New Testament is just a quote from pontius Pilate saying “what is truth?”, which just seems weirdly apt.

Lo, they accused us of having donkey brains. I acquired a sealed scroll from the governor verifying I indeed have normal manly brains.

I think it is more likely a crude representation of the 'Christ' in comic form - to get the Greek pun, compare Chiros and Christos - and you can see why a half man half horse becomes the teacher for the sons of Min/Men.

It actually started in Egypt. Way before Christianity.

What amazing about greek language is that Greeks can read those 2000 years old graffiti

It’s kind of beautiful if you think about it. Because Jesus brought himself to the lowest of lows so he could bring his beloved mankind to the highest of highs. It’s like he became a donkey so we could be mighty stallions!

Actually there is historical evidence that yahweh was actually a donkey-headed god with its roots in Greece. That is actually a whole thing. There was likely a misunderstanding at the time that Jesus represented yahweh. This however is incorrect if you abide by the gnostic christian point of view.
