Please note for long term : SharePoint Add-Ins will stop working for new tenants as of November 1st, 2024 and they will stop working for existing tenants and will be fully retired as of April 2nd, 2026. This applies to all environments including Government Clouds and Department of Defense.

Is there a way to make this read-only so that only project managers can edit the schedules? And is there a way to pull data directly from the Project Web App so project managers can update in that environment and schedule viewers can view regular refreshed schedules in the Sharepoint Tasks Lists?

One question re SharePoint Tasks - Is it possible to set up a template task list OR to otherwise easily replicate a task list so as to not have to re-create it each time a similar project arises. It may be easier to edit an existing task list (template or old task list) than starting from scratch.
To provide a bit more context, looking for a project and task management solution for a high volume of projects that require the same tasks be completed for each project (with very little variation in both the tasks and the assignees of the tasks).
Greatly appreciate your insight into this!

Thank you very much for this helpful tutorial. May I ask a question. If I want to use SharePoint Task list to setup a closing checklist. Is it possible to set a task as recurring? And when you tick the box, is it possible to see by who and when (date and time) it was approved?
