I do find it curious that Charles Hurt would condemn Jimmy Kimmel for using his child as a prop in a political debate, while referencing piling on debt to his grandchildren in his original statement at the start of this piece. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Yeah hospitals don't turn away a child, but they bill the family and if you don't have insurance you can get stuck with a bill that cost you more than your house, that is the point... Medicaid will help, but if the family doesn't qualify for medicaid because of income they're stuck with that bill, and it would be MASSIVE, 300, 000 dollars easily if not more for a major heart surgery....

Jimmy was pleading with both republicans and democrats to find a bipartisan solution to healthcare. How dare you guys fight against that!
