I gotta say, I can’t be mad at the original concept. I mean a game that adopted a lot of 3D World’s technical aspects, but it’s not linear at all. There were the sandbox 3D Mario games where he had a health system with minimal power ups which tended to only be temporary. There were some linear 3D Mario games where the power ups and health system worked exactly like a 2D Mario game and were basically 3D versions of 2D levels. But now this is something I haven’t seen until this game. The power ups and health system and even some platforming of a 2D Mario game, but a 3D game the way that it’s supposed to be which is a non linear sandbox where you can go anywhere and do anything.
