I was in Toronto last night, I watched the game with a gentleman who survived an aneursym bursting in his head (still dealing with anxiety and paranoia) while visiting my mother after her back surgery. My dog had just died (Rest in peace Otto, I love you) and I was broken, this guy wanted to watch the game with us and keep me from feeling alone as my uncle also had an aneurysm then died cause he hit his head while he was on blood thinners the doctor forgot to tell him to stop so my mom let him knoe before i came that i was hurting alot, we watched most of it but had to leave during the last period cause we're only allowed to be there so long. We got to the hotel and by the time the game was over all you could here and we were on the 24th floor of the Chelsea was people cheering and cars honking their horns in pride.

I have to say after having one of the worst weeks of my life it made me happy to see so many people joined together in celebration. I kind of wish I had of gone down to the street to wander around but I had to be up early and sleep didn't come easy. I made a new friend and saw what I enjoy about canada despite all the things I dislike about it. Whether or not the leafs win the cup ill remember that for a long time

Awesome moment here. Congrats Leafs fans. As a HABS fan, that OT goal reminded me of that goal that got us into the Stanley Cup finals over Vegas a few years ago...a great moment !

I have suffered through so much for so long. I was a bright eyed 10 yr old when I was at Maple Leaf Gardens and I saw the Leafs win that cup in '67 and I got to meet Johnny Bower. One curse down, one to go. Well done Leafs.
