Last month, Mikayla Atkins and Paris Wilden, fellow surfers and creatives based on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, rugged up and headed on a good old fashioned road trip down south, to brave a few weeks of Victorian winter.

Embracing the reality of hash weather and icy waters, the duo returned home with a newfound appreciation for the stark beauty and unique challenge of winter surfing.
