Ive seen so much negativity about FSD, it really is an extraordinary advance already and we can see the improvement coming quickly. There is no competition for this, from anyone. There are others trying but they just dont have the scale. Amazing technological advance by Tesla.

No one will develop FSD to compete with Tesla, from what I understand Tesla spent at least 10 billion dollars developing FSD, why would any other car manufacturer spend lots of money to develop a competing system when it will be cheaper just to license the software from Tesla. Just like no one ever developed a competing OS to Microsoft, only Apple, that has a small share of the market, Tesla will dominate this market for decades to come.

Thanks, great analysis. I'm in rural America and just completing my free FSD month in my 2023 Model Y LR. It has handled small town, Interstate, and country road driving with few interventions. Impressive decisionmaking in a variety of situations, some issues with hard rain visibility.

Couldn’t agree more. If China and the EU fall to the impressiveness of FSD (Supervised) the game is over. Legacy, waymo etc. will just be left sitting in a rocker on the porch watching the spaceships leaving never to return.

I live in Medellin and the traffic is insane. A never ending flow of scooters and motorcycles splitting lanes. Cars and trucks making their own lanes. If FSD can work here it would be amazing.
