우리도 잘 모르는 것을 설명할 때 장황하고 자세하게 묘사하잖음 예를 들어 마이크를 설명해야하는데 이름을 모른다면, 원기둥모양의 손잡이에 동그란 것이 달려있고 거기에 입을 대고 말하면 소리가 증폭됨< 이렇게 설명하는 것처럼.. 뫼르소가 사람들의 감정을 본능적으로 깨닫지 못하는것같은 느낌임..

원작 소설 이방인의 제목과 이방인을 보는 사람들의 시선, 이방인이 되어버려 타인들에게 눈에 띄는 뫼르소의 감정들 잘 살려서 EGO 타인의 사슬로 만든거 진짜 잘 만들었다..

In _The Stranger, _ Meursault is a man who doesn't interface with the world or care for traditions/expectations the way other people do. So when he's put on trial for taking the life of another person, and no one can understand why, it feels more like he's being judged for being... different, and hard to understand, rather than for his crime itself. Project Moon definitely seems to be leaning into that here, and hell, I'm really excited to see more of him now!

Hello, french native and literature guy here who also wrote the french subtitles, let's give some FUN FACTS

The sentence extracted from "L'Étranger" of Albert Camus (and actually the entire character) is modified here mostly because of FRENCH COPYRIGHT, because L'Étranger is still copyrighted and the people who own them LOVE to sue over it~ Meursault's name and references are still at risk, but way less with different sentences. ANYWAY, the original sentence is "Aujourd'hui, Maman est morte. Ou peut-être était-ce hier, je ne sais pas." which roughly translates to "Today, Mom is dead. Or maybe it was yesterday, I don't know." and is followed by the explanation that he received a telegram where the date of death isn't indicated. This change indicated either that Meursault killed her or feels guilty of her death~ (idk myself honestly)

Also, the name of the partial E.G.O. of Meursault can be confusing, so let me clarify ; it has to be understood as "Chains received from Others" instead of "Chains of Others". Chains and "Autrui"'s influence aren't really part of Camus' writing but are seen in others, so it's probable that Meursault will not only reference Camus but also other writers. I have my theories and indications but for now, let's keep it for y'all to guess.

(My only disappointment is that Meursault didn't receive a gun as E.G.O.

The cold and emotionless personality this guy has is so relatable to me, I was bullied and got into fights a lot in my primary and high school years that I decided to start a routine of fitness training and always keep a serious face with little to no signs of showing my emotions when talking to other people, plus I'd only talk to people about related stuff that's going on instead of having a fun conversation with them. Easily one of my favorite characters in this game, hope to see more of him in the future.

와... 이번 뫼르소 pv도 역대급 캐릭터 프로모션이라는 생각이 들었습니다. 타인의 시선으로 자신의 모습이 재단된다는 것을 함축적으로 표현한 느낌이 매우 드네요.
어차피 자신의 존재라는 것은 전부 남이 생각한 대로 보일텐데, 굳이 자기자신을 표출할 필요를 못 느끼겠다는 그런 생각을 가진 것 같습니다.
남의 시선과 반응을 민감하게 신경쓰는 모습도 그렇고(말 빨리 하는 부분) 에고도 타인의사슬이라는 것도 그렇고 너무 잘 맞물리게 표현돼서 그저... 그저... (입틀막) 쩔어요. 어떻게 이런 생각을...
근데, 수감자복에 넥타이까지 있는 거 보고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 아니, 얼마나 스테레오 타입에 맞추는 거야ㅠㅠㅠ 왠지 답답할 것 같아ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 그런 캐릭터성이겠지ㅠ
