i love a solo trip, and this year i decided to take myself to appenzell in switzerland to do some hiking at the end of summer.

also i know the last song is a random choice but there was a copyright claim so i had to mix it up

This is my hometown and I realised how lucky I am to live there and to be able to go hiking on just random days. I often forget that this is not reality for most of the people and how beautiful these views actually are. You get so used to it when you grow up with this. This video is beautiful and it made me so thankful❤

Four minutes in and I’m already crying. I’ve been to Switzerland twice during summer as an Aupair (summer 2023/2024). I miss it everyday. I’m from Madrid (Spain), and even though I love my city and country with all my heart, the beauty and peace this country fills my soul with is otherworldly. I long to go back there as soon as possible. I already speak French perfectly and I have signed up for a German course to master the two main languages that are spoken there. I remember hiking the same trail you did in Aesher and seeing everything for the first time. The tears wouldn’t stop flowing—I was so touched by the beauty the world has to offer. To this day, it's still one of my favorite hikes and views ever. You captured not only the view but also the feeling of it so beautifully. ❤

nah this is actually such a beautiful sight like nature is so fucking beautiful. I would've sat there and really cried because we live in such a beautiful world full of nature and you cant help but cry because you look at it and there's so much to be grateful for. One day I hope to go on a solo trip to somewhere like this and really take it in.
