I finally understood the message of the song. Disappointment takes us by surprise, but it's okay, because everyone has their dumb moments/ are dumb in their own ways. When one expects one has the capability to learn or do something, but fail at it, one will feel disappointed. That's when one feels like hiding, or hope that people around will shrug it out as a comic relief (if one messes up a lot). But it is just human to mess up, and everyone is dumb, on their own learning journey.
