I’m pretty sure a lot of the same people who don’t want government meddling in their healthcare when it comes to universal healthcare are just fine with government meddling in the healthcare of trans people.

I don’t know what trans kids go through, but who wants a blanket law that affects a bunch of people you don’t know on their conscience? Families should be allowed to make these decisions for themselves under the care of their doctors - if it’s a mistake they’re the ones who live with the consequences.

The human brain isn’t even developed until 25. I support trans peoples right to do what they want with their bodies once they’re an adult, but children are not mentally capable of making these drastic decisions.

I honestly don’t have anything against transgender individuals however I agree that a young child should not make this decision, some people have started transitioning their kids from as young as 5 and I just can’t agree with that

Dr's should have their license taken away for harming children.
Kids are so easily persuaded.
It's important they don't drastically and permanently alter their body on a whim, or by being groomed by teachers and their community.

As someone involved in the teaching of ALL children, I have seen a small number of trans kids in my music groups over 49 years. They are Here and they know they are trans from toddlerhood. 
The hormone blockers are started at around 11. No 5 year olds need them. If a family decides they are not right for that child, the hormone blockers can be stopped at any time. I have not heard of any families stopping them as the kids are normal and happy. No surgeries are done until the child is an adult. This is a strictly political posturing and I hope the courts can come to the aid
of these children. If they are denied the ability to be who they are, expect the suicide rates to increase. It's hard enough being LBGTQ without having your medical help be withdrawn by a state
of anti science know nothings.

This is great. I don’t live in Alabama, but I agree that little kids should not learn about gender identity and sexual orientation, and minors should not be allowed to do gender change treatments.

Who knows, a kid could be like “I want to do this” because it’s a trend and I’ll be popular and I’ll find a boyfriend/girlfriend. No, that’s way too young. 18 should be the age where drastic changes can be made. These are children, their brains and bodies aren’t fully developed yet.

Using the term "LGBTQ youth" is simply an admission of being a groomer. This is not a thing and stop pushing your PSYCHOlogical agenda on these young people. Shame.
