Aptera — Launch Edition

Показать описание

Aptera’s Launch Edition was created with one purpose in mind — energy efficiency. Its unique shape, ultra-lightweight, and ultra-strong materials allow Aptera to slip through the air using a quarter of the energy compared to other electric and hybrid vehicles on the road today. Equipped with roughly 700 watts of proprietary solar technology, Aptera drives up to 40 miles per day directly from the sun’s rays, making it possible to never plug in to charge again.

I hope this happens, there have been so many of these projects that failed before a single one is delivered I hope this will be the one that makes it.

It’s still going to be the sweetest ride on the road.

400 miles of charge per hour with just ~50 kW is mind-blowing. It says that carmakers should be going for efficiency instead of pushing more more more kilowatts into their vehicles.

700 watts of solar panels. 40 miles charged a day. That's very nice. The form factor is small though but that's how it has to be

This is great! It’s awesome to see a company respond to their customers. Go Aptera!

Great to know that the 250 mile variant I’m waiting for (all that’s needed for gig work) will be able to charge from 0-80% in 30 minutes. Keep it up people!

This thing will blow up once the reviews start rolling in. Exposure has always been a sore spot for Aptera, but people will give it the recognition it deserves if it can just make it to market.

So this is the exact video as before but with the 40-60 kWh charging right? 😜

Really awesome how quickly they've turned things around!! 😁
I hope the charging change doesn't cause too much of a delay on production, but they seem to have that plan ready to go 👍

Listening to customers and improving the charge rate so fast gives me even more confidence the Aptera company. Thank you.

The only thing I wish is that it had a round steering wheel. Other than that, it's perfect.

Looks awesome! I can't wait to get my Aptera, so I can start converting my fellow Canadians into Aptera EV owners. Peace all, Calvin.

so cool to see the DCFC adopted in the promo immediately! What a joy to look forward to, even though we are at the end of the line here in Europe. Thats fine. Happy to wait if that means it will come to Europe. Head over heals on this one, really!

I love the aptera and have placed an order, but I am going to be brutally honest, the steering yoke button situation is just trash. Having a small, off-center horn button is AWFUL. Having to find the small, off-center horn button potentially mid-turn is not viable in sudden emergencies. Also the only other control on the yoke being volume is disappointing. Everything else looks fantastic (except maybe the cupholders) and I'm looking forward to owning one for myself!

I can’t wait for my car to be delivered to me here in Norwich, Great Britain. I think one of the first things I’ll do is a pan Europe trial across the breadth and depth of the continent. Norwich to Porto, Seville, Monte Carlo, Rome, Brindisi, Athens, Istanbul, Bucharest, Warsaw, Helsinki, Nordkapp, Oslo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Hoek van Holland, Norwich. a 10, 000 mile round trip taking in 22 countries in four weeks of travel, 300 - 400 miles per day. I’ve always wanted to do the trip but never found the right car to do it in. The Aptera would make a superb subject for this as a video blog. IT WILL HAPPEN!
