I've stayed at this hotel over 30 times, and never had a room with a shower-tub combo. I had a pen/paper about 80% of the stays. Every room I stayed in had lamps and alarm clocks with USB ports.

The rooms in the top half of the hotel ("deluxe" and "executive") are slightly newer/more modern-looking, but the same size. I've been upgraded to one of those every time since I became a Hilton Gold or Diamond member, but never a suite.

I'd say the reason why you didn't an upgrade is because you booked the twin room (not king).

I also had one room with a newer TV :). The old one probably broke.

Great production quality. I love the theme music in the background. I was glued to every minute because your editing is so good. Keep up the good work! This hotel seems like a typical American monolith, but as comments show below, looks like they are slowly renovating floor by floor.

Thumbs up for another great hotel review. Hilton BNE is amazing. Spacious rooms with abundance of facilities! 9:23 to 9:33 was a tad disappointing though. 😛😜🤪

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years. Never disappointed with their service & rooms. We have attended a few conferences close by so enjoyed the close proximity to the conference centre. Always a pleasant hotel to stay in.

As always Jayden, a really well put together and narrated video with appropriate attention paid to the coat hook. I get chills when you feature this often maligned piece of hardware. Good to see you back in Queensland enjoying yourself Jayden! I`ve not stayed at the Hilton in Brisbane for more than a decade, but the guest rooms are exactly the same as they were then. The rooms on the executive floors are nicer and more modern. Removing the notepads and pens was a Covid measure, and like the minibars have yet to make a reappearance in many hotels. Thanks for posting!

That elevator reminds me of the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco, C 1976.
With the huge space inside the hotel.
Regarding your friend, I used to adore the sun but am paying a price with skin problems now.

Bringing people back to the room after clubbing hey 😉! Love Brisbane, I lived there for 8 years. Eat St is the one place I used to take anyone who visited, it is such a great place to sit back and enjoy.
