One suggestion I have for nature reserves for the two achievements is to put them in places that most dupes will often visit (like a latter rung) since the morale buff from a nature reserve only lasts 0.3 cycles.

6:00 using the teleporter and finding a coal genny is okay for Super Sustainable. Just make sure no dupes put coal inside it, and the colony is still eligible for the achieve.

Used the teleporter in a previous run and found a coal genny, so sure the achieve got botched. So yeah, I found out the brown-pants way 😂

Edit: The Achieve TT has actually been updated since then aswell, now saying "whithout using" respective generators. It used to be "without building" them.

Hey, Echo! Love the series! You're doing a great job! And a small tip - you can put a door sideways right above your critter feeders and get rid of one tile in the corner.

Just got carnivore, too, at about the same point but on normal tummy settings. I had half the incubators but I lucked out on two big counts: I got a mechatronics engineer on my 6th dupe, so eggs were going to be drowned right away AND I had pacus around so was able to farm them, too. Now I've culled it down to 2 ranches (one normal hatches and one half-ranch of smooth hatches) and the pacu farm and my dupes are dining on surf-and-turf most nights. My incubators are off the grid as I have them in a ranch with two cuddle pips. Then there's a good number of glossy dreckos going. So at cycle 100, I've been going around analyzing geyser and getting the long-term water situation down, as well as starting up SPACE.

Congrats on getting carnivore and 13 cycles early too!! That should mean you have 13 cycles to get ahead on other achievements right lol, but I cant wait to see what you have cooked up

i just started this challenge because of you :3, was actually getting a lil bored but this series brought me back, maybe you could like make a video at the end of the series showing off your discord memebers's colonies and see what achievement they got and if they hit the carnivore or not, would love to see it. <3

Hey just a tip! Your evolution chamber can be 1 tile deep, with the water being in the door. Eggs can drop through the door and critters will get stuck in it once they hatch. it'll also make it easier for a future autosweeper to reach into it from an angle.

Carnivore is an achievement I am ignoring for now until I've experienced more of the game lol too many inncuabtors. Also, question for you Echo! Do you think it would be possible (either with or without the use of mods/edit mode) to do a challenge where you start on a rocket and try to build it up/keep it going by visiting the asteroids? You would have a mini printing pod in the rocket with you, visit asteroids for materials and to refuel, and basically be full-time astronauts.

Mate, good job on that carnivore achievement. Personally I think that its all good you printed the 6 eggs because it is just such a hard role of dice to really know if you did not print them.

You do not lose super sustainable on the other map as long as your dupes don’t put materials into the coal generator so just don’t give them access to it

Personally, I don’t care about the printing pod. Care packages are base game default settings, it’s rare to get something that has a meaningful impact, and sometimes you’re in the market for a new dupe and one of the slots is taken up by something you don’t need.

6:27 that is 110% the case that will happen but it will not void your achievement until you actually fuel it which is nice. I tested it hoping that it would be a loophole but if you fuel it it counts against your achievement
