The problem with powerful E-Bikes is that the front end is so lightweight that if you really open up the throttle you’re going to have to fight to keep the front wheel down or you’ll end up doing a accidental wheelie in traffic that you were not prepared to do riding a bicycle in traffic is dangerous enough without suddenly being unable to steer because your front wheel is not on the ground anymore isn’t cool don’t get me wrong I like E- bikes I’ve owned several. I couldn’t find one like the one I wanted so I ended up building it myself with a 72 V lithium battery The bike’s total weight was about. 72 pounds. Which was not very evenly distributed. which created problems at high-speed if you had to slam on the brakes really fast the entire momentum of your body was going to hit those handlebars, , which could raise the rear wheel off of the ground and suddenly you’re doing a reverse wheelie happened to me once in traffic all I could do is just stand there on one wheel completely vertical with the rear, wheel up in the air above me for about 15 seconds just long enough for me to think to myself well, this is going to hurt and I was right it did after that, I became real cautious with that throttle and I asked myself just how big of a hurry am I really in anyways?
