I love the way you focus the attention on the dog's head and go more soft-focus on the rest. I dislike when artwork has all hard edges and everything has the same amount of focus. You see this a lot in hyper/photo realism. It is not the way we see things in nature. Hard and soft edges working together in a painting make it really beautiful and artistic.

Beautiful Dog and beautiful work im local to yourself but i cant draw very well so cant do very much in soft pastel and cant afford to pay for tutorials i would love to be abke to do a pet portrait of my dog who passed away two years ago xx
