How does this work with APK that are already built? - whenever I open the APK file i am trying to turn into a signed app bundle I dont get the option when selecting "build > generate signed app bundle"

The next window I get automatically opens "APK" I dont get the android option?

When I do a fresh project and don't open the already built APK then I can go through your wizard it works fine, however I am trying to take a 125mb apk and turn it into a aab app bundle in order to deploy using google playstore in an intune environment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I am using android studio i want to generate release and debug folder i tried generating the project with android studio generate signed bundle/apk but it does not generate the release and debug folder instead it generate jks file what is wrong please help me i am using android studio i want to generate release and debug folder i tried like build> generate signed bundle/apk then it comes the page which require password and the like message then i choose the debug and release and then i clicked v1 and v2 and finished but the outcome will be jks file only i didnt find the release and debug folder please help me, thank you in advance

okay so i have a .jks and a .aab what do i do with those files, how can i use that to sign my apk?
