Why John Cena Doesn't Want Kids

John Cena revealed he doesn't want kids and it's stirring up some strong reactions online.

Being a parent is the hardest and greatest job a person can ever have but it's not for everyone.

I agree that if he doesn't want them then thats his choice. Too many people are terrible parents or neglect their kids or even straight up treat their kids like crap. Those are the people who shouldn't have them as well.

Cena is doing the right thing. He didn't say he hates kids. He's just too invested in his own career. Its better that he not have kids than have kids and be an absent father or have a nanny raise them. Im not sure why people are so bent out of shape. Look at the kids of celebrities...many are as messed up as the celebrities themselves.

My wife and I are in our 40s and we still don’t have kids and we don’t plan to have kids either. Because of medical reasons I’d rather not discuss we can’t have kids even if we wanted to. I wanted to have kids when I was younger, but the older I got the less appealing it sounded. There was only one person who got on my case for not having kids and I basically told him that it’s none of his business and the only business it is is my wife’s and myself.

I'm the same way. I'm almost 43 and don't have kids and I don't want them. My family and relatives have always been weak betas, narcissists and alcoholics. I don't want to end with that. The likelihood of them turning out normal is very slim. I don't take the best care of myself let alone someone else. One of the reasons why I'm still single is because I don't want a kid/kids.

Makes me think of the movie Idiocracy, where the people too stupid to ponder these questions multiply like rabbits, but people like Cena spend too much time carefully considering what a serious undertaking it is. It’s backwards, sadly. We can all commend his self-awareness, of course.

If you’re involved in the entertainment industry, you’re exposed to people that prey on kids. Better to not have them.

Not a single person in the world is ever ready to have a kid. Not one. That being said, it isn't nearly as hard as you think it will be, nor as hard as single moms try to make it sound. I say that as a single father who has had physical custody since day one, and who doesn't receive cent in child support.
