Jeff Currie, Carlyle’s chief strategy officer of energy pathways, says commodities are in a "classic late-cycle" price rally. Speaking with Alix Steel on Bloomberg Television, Currie says he expects oil to break out of the $70-$90 range and also comments on his new role at Carlyle.

I'm not sure I have ever seen a correct commodity market call from Curie.

His prediction has been so early it has ceased to be useful. He has being saying the same thing since 2020. I like him. It just isn't happening.

At Carlyle they do nothing but eat bison meat burgers, steak burritos, and drink whiskey. It's taking a toll on Currie.
