Ive rode the bmws1000rr and I own and 1198s, the bmw was ok to ride but its a all or nothing bike. either go for it or don't bother as it got terrible low down power and needs 8000 rpm before it comes allive, Its a race bike engine and either too slow for the road or too fast. They recently got the bike into winning form with changes, it truely shows the bike wasnt so great but the new ones will be much better. I prefer torque myself. they all great bikes nowadays though. mine looking sexiest :P
