I worked at a truck repair yard back in the 70’s one rainy day a pool company, our customer was digging a swimming pool in clay. The combination of clay and rain turned the load into a 14 yard 30 ton sticky ball. So attempting to dump the load, the driver maxed out the dump ram and nothing happened. So the driver tried to bump the load, nothing . So after popping a few 1-2 foot wheelies and still not getting anywhere, he decides to put the truck in reverse, rev it up to redline and jam on the brakes. The front wheels came up about 8 feet off the ground and ripped the bed right off the truck……. Another thing to put on the “let’s not do that again” list!
