Tómas Jónsson - Sefgarðar

I was touring with a band in France, it was day one when my very pregnant wife calls to tell me our landlord had just informed her he was selling the apartment we were living in and we needed to move out. That was a shock in every way because of the unfortunate circumstances. We then found a beautiful house that we could move in quickly. The living room was large and raised with a big window facing the ocean and the mountains. My piano was placed there. After the first night in this new place, I woke up, went straight into the living room and played the song which had practically just written itself. I feel there is a sense of relief and calmness in the song. The title is the name of the street where the house is. We don’t live there anymore, but in a lovely house we own out in the country side.
