Just so all you guys saying that the teeth in the video aren't megalodon teeth because of their size know, they are. Size has nothing to do with their ID. Morphology does. Not every single tooth in their mouths were 8 inches long. If you do some research you'll see that there is a LOT of variability within their teeth.

I lot of people here seem to not realize that this planet has changed alot since sharks like the Megalodons were around. Florida (where they are at) used to be deep underwater, in this video they are digging to the layer of gravel that was the top layer of soil in the ocean in the past. That is how they are finding sharks teeth in a riverbed in Florida.

Sidenote: I used to do these hunts with my dad all the time in SE Alabama, if you live anywhere near water (4-5 ish hours away) you should do some research into finding where to hunt for sharks teeth. They arent worth much anything but its alot of fun to go and do!
