How to build a Nether Reactor - Minecraft PE 0.8.0

The Nether Reactor is huge part of Minecraft PE. It is the only known way to get Melon Seeds and Pumkin seeds. I'm not sure about the potato but i got one from the nether reactor this time. This video was made to show you how to build a Nether Reactor and also show you what the 0.8.0 Nether Reactor gives you if your already familiar with the Nether Reactor in from previous PE releases.

Pure nostalgia. I remember playing MCPE on my ipad figuring out how to build this reactor. Those were some good times. I will always cherish those days, thank you for bringing the algorithm to me!

oh my gosh I remember the nether reactor core block when I played PE with my cousins 😭 I always thought it was just some pretty block to build with, I remember using it as a wall or floor when making those diamond or gold block houses LOL

wish I knew that it was actually just a temporary block and was actually used to give you items from the nether since the nether wasn’t added that time ☹️ now I’m watching this as the block is just completely gone now, unable to go back in time and actually try this when I was young and when the block still existed.

I remember watching this video in 2013, me and my cousin who just installed minecraft a week before had no idea what a “nether reactor” was for and had to search how to use it on youtube. This video popped up back then. Its insane how so many memories suddenly flooded back when I revisited it today

I honestly kinda want to see this kinda stuff return, cus the whole concept of the nether reactor is that it brings the nether to you, i would imagine that if this is present in minecraft today it would be the staple method of getting nether mobs to the overworld, for farms and what not
