Hi Kirikkos, nice that you are riding towards today at Namobuddha, , one of fouth holiest place for Tibetian Buddist and of course for sNepalese too. It sitautes nearby my hometown DHULIKHEL.and had visited dozens times since from childhood, on foot, and takes around +/- ( 6 -8) hours. As you already know by now, final destination is not important but journey is more important, and also the essence of Buddism teaching. Our visit is always spiritual first most, and comes enjoyness.
I had drawn a circle trekking map for tourists, from Dhulikhel - Namobuddha -{Panauti} - back to Dhulikhel, which is still in my brain etched for permananetly, as I used to work family runned lodge back then and still continuing but in Resorts form. Hopefully you may visit on foot journey starting from Dhulikhek which you may have totaly another experience, especilly in spirtual one.
You have taken another route the usual one is in heavily reconstruction, and lots of stoff on the road.

You have taken another newly and slowly constructing route, which I had done only once on public transport, due to landslide caused problem. Eventually this route will have also huge problem in future with same fate: landslides. Because they have cut down uncountabley trees from untouched greenery forest. The worst is they never ever reforest nor plant a single tree instead, This is the flip side of development ( of nation).
