I went to measure resistance with my Extech EX540 DMM and it was totally hosed. No matter what value resistor I tried to measure it displayed 0 ohms.
It was still under the Extech 3 year warranty so I went to the Extech web page and discovered my meter had been recalled shortly after I purchased it.
