the sweetest SURPRISE makeover of this renovated 1800's english stone mill | Upgrade My Stay

Welcome back to Upgrade My Stay, a show where we tackle vacation rental spaces that need a little Sorry Girls love and a whole lot of decor and DIYs. Today we got handed this BEAUTIFUL 1800s English stone mill that was used as a rental space in Perth, Ontario. This space already had so much beauty, so we really only needed to make everything tie in together and bring life back into the warn down areas. Watch as we upgrade this stone room into a cottage core / vintage rental space.

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments about how you guys deserve to have a show on a streaming platform. And I absolutely agree that this is quality content and I’d like to see more like it on paywall streaming platforms. But as somebody who works in the television industry I can’t stress enough how awesome it is to see you guys doing this level of production on your own terms, supporting your own team, and being able to control your creative content (not to mention your focus on sustainability - the film/tv industry’s footprint is too much!). I would never want any creator to sacrifice that to a larger conglomerate. Keep doing what you’re doing. Y’all are the future ✊

I loved the reveal that the grandma knew the renovation was happening was so touching and really added to the meaning of this as now the girl can enjoy it without wondering if her nan would have been okay with it or not.
The painting of the nan as well was a wonderful touch, well done 👍
