UPDATE: PayPal did the right thing!
After having to escalate the claim to PayPal due to the reasons I gave in this video, Floating Center Caps stopped responding to the case entirely. Due to this PayPal refunded me.

I thought about getting this for my XT5, but now I'm not so sure. They should have vacuum metalized the chrome trim as a separate piece.

Wonderful Review! You just saved me from buying this below quality product. They were almost there, but they took the cheap way out after they got halfway there. Again, great video, I hope there is a one that is better quality!

Saved me about $280. I was about to buy two. If they were cheaper, like $40 or less, then you could fix them up properly as a project.

Sucks to see this modification didn’t work out! However, I have a bit of a side question for you David. Would you recommend upgrading from and SRX to an XT5? As you may remember in a couple of my previous comments I have a 2016 SRX Performance with about 90k miles give or take and I’m looking to possibly upgrading to a 2018-2021 XT5 (depending on price and options). I definitely want at LEAST a high optioned Luxury model, but that’s beside the point. I was wondering how you’ve liked yours so far and how many miles are currently on it. I know you’ve had some issues with it hence your previous videos, but other than that any catastrophic issues that may have led you to regret your upgrade from your SRX? Please let me know! Thanks.

P.S.- I was able to get the wheel bearings covered under the extended warranty so those are now fixed FOR NOW! 🎉

Wow, thanks for this review. I had been looking at possibly doing this project on my 21 GLI, was skeptical at first, then even more so after reading the poorly worded/spelled description and video. Glad I didn’t waste $130. Have you found any reputable sources for an LED badge?

Thxs. For the info. I stopped ordering from China many years ago because of the customer service and low quality of the products. I definitely would have not installed that as well 🤦‍♂️

I bought puddle lights from them for my Volvo. They look amazing! Probably a lot easier to make that versus a big lighted front emblem, though. Plus, puddle lights already exist on the car so these were just plug and play. The lighted front emblem you'd have to deal with new wiring since the car didn't have that to begin with.

You can NOT put a painted grill emblem on a Cadillac. You are right, the chipping will be HORRIBLE. I had Savage Cadillac paint one in all black for my CTS. It looked great. 2 years later? I've had to touch it up twice. Each time about 30 chips. Now it's just a touched up mess. And considering what you have to go thru to install it, they shouldn't even be selling them.

Thanks for the clarification! I was close to buying one of these from their website but the more I looked into their website the more skeptical I was. You can see that this is clearly a Chinese manufacturer if you play close attention to their videos and you can see that there are spelling and grammatical errors on some of their descriptions listed. The site is also clearly broken at times with text and images being cutoff on some pages.
