Maybe I'm biased as an Aussie myself, but I feel like you're underselling JKS and maybe haven't followed him for the majority of career. You described him as a solid 1.0 rating anchor, but really that didn't become his role until he joined g2 and was forced into it (I'm intentionally ignoring his time at complexity, because wtf was going on in that team). During the renegades/100T era that makes up the majority of his career thus far, he was a star player, who consistently put up big numbers in some of the more star roles

Jks is such a massive upgrade over skullz and roles fit very well. I'm not convinced at the Twistzz igl thing though and they need a good AWPer + Yekindar has to start delivering otherwise they need to replace him as well. Let's hope the new coach knows what he's doing. The problem was that no amazing star player would've wanted to join Liquid right now so I guess that's why Yekindar is still on the team and they had to settle for a rookie in the AWP role. At least the core is very solid now with jks, naf and twistzz.

Jks is solid but I agree with you that he his not the solution. Now twistzz IGLing and an awper (when ultimate is true ) who nobody knows, they have now new problems. I hope they succeed but I don’t believe it tbh

Shoulda picked up Hooxi and Ultimate. Hooxi even if his rep is super shit rn and might make for the worst Tier 1 entry duo in Yeki and Hooxi, at least Twistzz and NAF could keep their level. As well as Ultimate having a decent chance to prove himself.

However, we all know over the years the coaching and IGL spot for TL has been a poison chalice.

interz is underrated and the whole gambit/c9 roster live and die by how Ax1le/Sh1ro get frags thanks to those flashes thrown by interz and Hobbit suddenly got back his form and make impact. Nafany's call were extremely inconsistent and the -inter +buster was the start of their downfall. Ax1le never reach that height we thought he could, nafany/buster/hobbit didn't know what they're doing and Sh1ro had to do all the workload... Never hyped about electronic igl or no awper roster
