Yoooo! That’s what I be preaching. Artists/Rappers need a producer if you aren’t both already. Two tracks don’t work. In my opinion because you can’t go back and change the level of a certain sound so easily without destroying the sound of another important component. Secondly because you will just break your head trying to make vocals fit on a two track. Find yourself a great producer and start building tracks from scratch. A beat on Youtube is already done. You can’t really do anything to it without the access to the original files. The production is as important as the writing, recording, mixing, and mastering process. Two tracks are like having your lead vocals, adlibs, doubles all in one take, then trying to mix everything independently.
