Here are some of the guitar equipment that I often use on my guitar lesson videos:
In this guitar lesson tutorial video, Shane Thomas shows you how to play the Alan Jackson classic Remember When. This country classic is one of Alan Jackson's most well-known songs. It also a song that you can learn in no time at all.

Remember When is one of the most beloved and enduring country songs in the past 30 years. It was written by Alan Jackson and it was recorded and released in 2003. In 2004 it reached the top of the country charts by becoming a number 1 hit.

Remember When is also a good song to use to learn what is called chord progressions. Chord progressions are a series of numbers usually expressed as Roman numerals in which you can know what chords to play no matter what key you play in. So this guitar video is not only an instructional video on how to play Remember When by Alan Jackson, but it is also a lesson in learning about chord progressions.

Remember When uses the very famous and well-known chord progression I,vi,IV,V chord progressions. Hundreds if not thousands of songs have used this same chord progression. This means once you learn it, you can easily play tons of songs using the same chord progression on your acoustic guitar!

If you want to learn how to play the guitar and hundreds of country songs on the guitar then consider subscribing to this YouTube channel and hitting that notification bell so you can get all the latest guitar song lessons and tutorials as soon as they are published.

So glad I found your channel. My request would be “Livin on Love” by Alan Jackson. Such a great easy song that gets you going but very few people do on Utube. I believe you would sound great doing this song. I love playing and singing it but need some help in perfecting it.

Hello Shane: This is one of your best tuitorials. Especially like the explanation of chord progressions. I watched it about a month ago and put it aside, but I got back to it glad I did. I like the key changes in tuitorial.

"When Alan Jackson wrote this song, he struck a chord." No pun intended! 😁 Great lesson. Thanks! 👍
