CK3 is coming up in a few months on its 3 year anniversary, so today I wanted to take a look at the development history for Crusader Kings 3, what I expected of it on launch and what is to come. The good news is CK3 is still being worked on and CK3 1.9 looks promising, but it certainly is a far cry from what I expected of the ck2 sequel.

I'm still playing ck2 and not planning to switch any time soon.
Ck2 has an absolute truckload more content, and mods allow us to balance it much better than ck3.
Honestly it is shameful that a sequel is worse than the predecessor.

ck2 sucked for a few years when it launched too. I would go back and just play the Game of Thrones mod for ck1 until it was flushed out.

I hate ck3 so much with a passion this game is so shit bro when I play it I feel like I slapped my uncle's ass on my desk and started playing with it.
