Tried Nissan value advantage wheel bearings. Installed correctly, surfaces cleaned prior to install and all bolts torque to factory spec. Failed in 7k miles. Wheel bearings are one of those parts that makes sense to install high quality part (if it can be found in today's Chinese parts market everywhere)

Hello SKF

Please can you explain why the wheel bearing VKBA 3569 (popular GEN2 VAG fitment) is no longer manufactured with a locking ring? Not only does this locking secure the bearing in the housing but it sets the depth for which the bearing sits in the hub and without it its impossible to seat the bearing fully home?
Is this cost cutting gone seriously wrong?
Please restore my faith in the SKF brand as its my go too aftermarket manufacturer!

Detroit axle wheel hubs lasted 20, 000km AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Im going to try out SKF. Im hoping they last alot longer haha
