Finally, the library has released 'Home Song' and 'Gathering Place' from processing and they are on the 'hold' shelf for me to pick up today. I will be reading 'Home Song' for this month's RRRCs with 'Gathering Place' and 'New Leaf' slotted for November RRRCs along with 'Circle of Grace'. So, trying to move on with them to keep up. Also, having problems getting books read this month like last month. So, we shall see how I do on these.

You're making great progress on the tree~ yay! I've noticed if I'm listening to audios, I'm not reading physical books and vice versa. I don't know what that's all about. If I try and do both I feel as though I'm not making progress. aaggghhhh I like your shirt!

I have a terrible time with reading physical books. I find audiobooks and ebooks so much more convenient that I rarely pick them up. Even if I own the physical book, I usually get the ebook or audio from the library when I choose to read it. When I do pick one up, it just takes me forever to get through it. I do love having them on my shelves, however. :)

The books I have read so far for Spookathon are Dead Voices by Elizabeth Arden, The Girl from the Other Side by Nagabe, The Saturday Night Ghost Club by Craig Davidson, Lock Every Door by Riley Sager, and Atrocities by Jeremy C. Shipp. Currently reading Footsteps in the Dark by Georgette Heyer and In the House in the Dark of the Woods by Laird Hunt. Still to read: Sheets by Brenna Thummler, Taaqtumi: An Anthology of Arctic Horror Stories, and In Sunlight or in Shadow: Stories Inspired by the Paintings of Edward Hopper edited by Lawrence Block. I am doing some of these in conjunction with Nightmareathon which starts today.
