Thank you! I learned more in this one tutorial than I have in two dozen others combined.

That spline texture technique was awesome. I've been wanting to learn something like that for months.
And add another vote for the rigging!

Thank you, EJ. I love this tutorial. I love all your tuts, but these tubular characters using primitives and cel shading are so whimsical and provocative. Although I will try rigging my tubular myself, I'd love to check my work with yours. I can always learn something new watching you.

Great tutorial! If anyone was having trouble like me at 29:00 when applying your custom "Face Mask" to the spline shader and having it not show up at all in the material viewer/editor/render try using just a primitive spline first and making sure your X/Y Offset and X/Y Scale settings aren't too crazy then add your Face Mask and hopefully that will work. It might have something to do with where your axis is located when you're moving the actual face splines into place.

I expect step by steps that explain everything the moderator is doing when I watch a tutorial. Thank you for that. Was able to follow along with ease.

We need to know how to rig this! Awesome tutorial as always EJ. I've been able to apply much of what you have taught to my own designs. Keep up the great work!
