Are scalars in this vector space V(C) also complex numbers?

If so, I think T is not a linear map. Here is a counter example.

Scalar 1+i
Vector 1+i

Then T((1+i)(1+i))=-2i while (1+i)T(1+i)=2, which means T doesn't meet homogeneity.

Sorry in advance if I'm wrong.
