I got the CFU because I already had a Discover card with the rotating categories, so I decided I would rather have a card that would be more suited to basically anything. Plus I didn't want to have the CFF and risk categories clashing together creating predicament of where I have no idea which card to use at a given moment.

Yes get the unlimited. the better card is the flex.

Best plan is get each freedom a year apart for the 12k x5 multiplier bonus for gas and groceries .

If you have other cards the unlimited gets lost in what other cards can also do . When the flex has groceries and gas catogorys it will stack for the bonus for x9

Right now. 10/24 in branch offers are available for the 12k spend in groceries and gas. Also $200 for $500 spend in 3 months. For the year this bonus could be worth 80, 000 ur points.
