Your method is certainly working for you, you all have done a phenomenal job. Curious if on the extra debt payments, have you ever considered writing out 12 envelopes at the beginning of the year, putting stamps on, maybe even writing out the checks without an amount and throwing them in your safe? You've done the leg work, and then every month you add the amount on the check, stick it in the pre-made envelope and throw it in the mail.

Just a thought I had while you were explaining to make it simpler for you and maybe save an extra dollar in interest by making more frequent extra debt payments.
