Will it Chug? Stupid question, of course it does. Why would you name something Metalcore if that wasn't the case.

I bought Boss Metal Core when it first hit the market back in about 2009/2010 and have had it ever since. I loved the sound right off the bat. The thing that I like the most about this pedal is that is sounds good for WAY more than just metal. I use it for alot of hard rock and punk also. Versatile pedal.

This is a great pedal, I use it all the time. It's seriously underrated - I think people expect it to be crappy because they've had bad experiences with the Metal Zone.

Best settings on this pedal imho are:
Level maxed
Bass 9 o clock
High 10 o clock
Gain minimized.
You get a slight mid boost this way
(for a pedal that pretty scooped to begin with)
Great pedal

I got one today, and I freakin love it - the sound is exactly the distortion i was after --- have used a lot of pedals and Multi Effects, but wanted something that I can feel it vibrate through my body and this pedal delivers exactly that
