Fox Screaming At Night #shorts

Our deercam caught a young fox making creepy noises in the middle of the night. These screams can be extremely scary when it's dark.

So that's what scared me so bad that I screamed multiple times loud enough for all our neighbors to hear and run as fast as I could to our bullmastiff.

Never thought something so cute could instill the fear of god in me, but holy shit it was TERRIFYING! I was coming out of the chicken coop after dark (cause I was working all day) and I looked out toward the duck pen to see what they were quacking about and soon as the light from my headlamp hit right between the duck pen and the old motor home that's down there, something screamed, and you already know the rest cause I put it above.
For geographical context I live in the middle of the woods in NW Wisconsin. There are a couple acres of mostly treeless land where our home and animals and sheds are, but most of our 40 acres is dense forest. The ducks and motorhome are right on the edge of wood vs grass, so I NEVER go down there by myself at night. If I have to I bring Stormy (bullmastiff) with me because I know he'll protect me if anything comes out of those trees and tries to hurt me

On the 30th october night I was getting ready to sleep and I heard this SCREAMING ON THE STREET IN FRONT OF MY HOME AND MY HEART STOPPED AND IT JUST WENT ON FOR 10 SECONDS AND A LOT OF DOGS STARTED BARKING

Yellow stone one was definitely a fox or a mountain lion, I live in southwest Colorado and I used to hear fox’s screaming all the time

I can see why most "monster" noises heard in the woods are actually just animals we know

This is the sound I came here to look up but there was more than one "barking". It sounded like the bars had just let out for the night and there must have been at least four of them. I know we have foxes, I've seen them through the trees but usually they are pretty stealth and quiet.

I hear them about every night and before daylight in the morning. They are not always in the area where the scream is coming from. I have found that out already several times.
