Zoom R8 for live play quick Setup

1. tools/metronome turn metronome on Rec&play, sounds scroll right till you have 2 tracks (in my case 3/4)

2. Have your wav audio MONO clicktrack imported to a channel (in my case channel 3)

3. activate the inputs. input 1 will always be routed to the odd inputs (1,3,5,7)
input 2 will always be routed to the even inputs (2,4,6,8)
(you need to activate them with every startup or if you load a different project. That is why I make one long 2 hour project for a complete show)

4. route the inputs tot the selected channels that you have chosen in the metronome menu (in my case 3/4) by pushing the track buttons till they are red.

And that's it make a balance for yourself using the input 1 and 2 gain dials, the headphone out volume at the back and the gray mix dial (master/click) to make a balance between trigger, monitor mix, and backingtracks to your headphones out.

Tip. I keep the headphone out volume reasonably high so there is enough headroom for the inputs. start with the gray mixknop all the way to the right (mine is set at around 3 o clock)

If you still get hard left-right on the inputs. check in Pan/EQ menu all the way at the bottom if the ST link (stereo link) is turned off.

For Audio I advice wav 44.1/24 bit since this gives you the ability to still use channel EQ and FX when needed. MP3 is not supported.

Hello. I have a question: I recorded some songs with the Zoom R8. First track rhythm, then rhythm guitar on the next track and the next 2 tracks vocals. Now I don't know what to do next. Now what do I need to mix my songs? Can you help me with that? Thank you very much. Greetings

Hello!
My question is, is there a faster way to avoid spending so much time switching projects between the two tracks on the stage? Because I couldn't find anything about it in the description..Do you know a trick for this?

This seems a very interesting use but...I dont get what you are trying to accomplish. Maybe because I dont play live. I understand about the backing track in through input 1 and click track through input 2 and both through the headphones output. What I dont understand is why is the click track and backing track coming from the outside through both inputs ...? Shouldnt the backing track and click track come from the tracks already recorded on the ZOOM R8 ?

If I have a stereo .wav click track, then import it into Track 3/4. Does that mean the sound only comes out on Phones only?
