I saw this MEP opening and thought this could be a great opportunity to edit with Agent Smith again after more than 2 months 'cause the song always seems to be a cool, confident and badass guy (which Smith is, even as a villain) and 'cause I've slipped into a Hugo Weaving phase after my last MEP part lol, not to mention that I LOVE this song!

The lyrics of my part ( "(...) there ain't nobody, nobody (there ain't nobody, yeahh) else that can make as hot like me, ZERO! (baaaaabe), take it to the top like me, girl you know there ain't nobody, nobody (ohhhhhhhhhhhh...), how many people can do it like me? ZERO! Keep it (...)" ) were sort of the one that gives the key vibes/message of the song, so I decided to pick that one. I wanted to start out with Smith walking towards the heroe's helicopter and shooting it 'cause, same with him shooting the telephone Trinity was at 'cause the way he slowly does it in a chill way with an otherwise deadly shot is so badass to me. When the song gets faster, I put his fist fight against Neo to show how much of a berserker he is too. Now, his funny face at "hot" was kind of a joke but the rythm and punch suited eachother as well and his following condescending look to show that "zero" people are as badass as him, not even the trained heroes. With flying up he quite literally "takes it to the top", his cool lightning pose repeating that in fact, "zero" can do it like him. Smith talking to Neo was mainly about lip sync and a bit of funsies with him addressing Neo as girl lol. Next he's just kinda fed up, says screw it, throws his gun away and decides to just get the job done by throwing Neo in front of a train which is what I did to play around with transitions a bit. We have the Smith clones because I thought about them at "how many people can do it like me?" (literally thousands, dude!) and because I kinda have to show them more, a shot of him looking evil and cool because we needed it and a random ending shot of Smith appearing behind the falling phone 'cause it looked dramatic and dangerous and I didn't know what else to put lmao
I mainly used slightly bouncy blending transitions 'cause they're a bit more dynamic than simple blending ones but for this one I also played around with zoom-outs this time 'cause I liked using them in my last MEP part and they fit this song very well and I like how this part turned out - even if I should maybe have a bit more scene variation in my next Agent Smith video XD

Oh I was happy to edit with Smith again and well, there will obviously more MEP parts before I start with my video edits for April!
