This song and all the comments got me crying so hard. It's 2024 and I left for a european country in search of a better life. Remember how my Dad put his hand on my head n prayed for me so i know I'll be ok as long as I have his blessings n God with me, Everything will be ok. the songs so beautiful. I lost my father when I was 5, I lost my mother when I was 21, I graduated from University and I was in Lagos for 3years, no job, no food, no place to stay. I would sleep wherever the night catches me, life was extremely tough and I almost lost it, I hated my existence, I questioned God everyday.... I cried under blanket all night when no one sees me. Just when I said to myself I’m done with it all, this awesome God stepped in.... I got a job I never had in mind, he turned my life around, today I am married to a lovely woman with 3 wonderful children, all living in America(not that America is everything but to tell you that our God can take you where you never ever imagined). Imagine if someone told me everything will be alright and they will be what they are today, I would have said forget it, nothing good can ever come out it. But then God is still God no matter what!
Darey, did you see the journey of my life to make this song? please tell me... bcos right now I can't explain how it all happened, perhaps God himself prayed for me, Heaven answered me.... (Sobsss!) God bless you for this piece Darey, this is my life!

I remember crying but not permitting you to see my tears, especially when you asked : "Am I dying.. ?" 😢😢😢. Like heaven was beckoning. I was already 23 but felt all helpless..

This was my inspiration the day i left home the day i left Nigeria on road to Morocco Rabat in 2016 my dad warned me but i was determine to make it as a young man praise be to Yeshua i made it in Rabat Morocco and i came back to Nigeria as a big man and since then i have visited 26 Countries. Glory to Yeshua i didn't regret it and my dad is now proud of me.

Great song. A couple of people asked what it means or it should have ended with him being successful. well let me explain, when he was leaving home his father did not want him to leave and when he would not listen he told him you are on your own. Getting to the city things turned out difficult and he realized he indeed had hurt his father and needed his blessings for things to turn around for him. so when his father got the letter and lifted his hands to heaven to pray then the heavens where open and things began to breakforth, the flowers blossomed and the earth gave increase an indication of a new dawn for His son

Lost my dad when i was 6, grew up in poverty. My mother would work in other people`s maize fields just to make sure that we got food and clothes. I remember crying the other day when we were planting maize for someone just to get the money for my first laptop, the sun was scotching, we were thirsty and hungry . I told God that we have suffered enough please make a way....I graduated from University in 2017 and i`m now working. I will not stop fighting for the sake of my mom. God surely answers our prayers .

The song bring tears 😭 to my eyes 4 years ago this was how I went to my mom and told her am traveling to Libya 🇱🇾 she told me it’s risky but she prayed for me and I moved on after some weeks I was arrested in Libya my mom was rushed to the hospital I spent 4 months without hearing from my family there was a night I saw my mom in my dream she was crying the next day I escaped from the prison now am in Europe may God bless each and everyone of us that is fighting to make a change in their families
